NGC1491 in Perseus
NGC 1491 is an emission nebula with an 11th mag. star at it's center. The image was taken 11-18-11 from Nazareth, PA with a Megrez 90mm APO and Atik 16C OSC CCD using a Ha filter mounted on a Losmandy GM8. Nebulosity capture/PHD guiding. 13 x 10min subs processed in PS CS2 and Carboni Actions. False color Ha.
