The Hyades Star Cluster
The Hyades star cluster in Taurus. This is the nearest open cluster to our Solar system. Its brightest stars form a "V" shape and along with the red giant Aldebaran form the head of the bull in the constellation. Also visible is the open cluster NGC 1647 in the upper left. North is up.
