M15 Globular Cluster in Pegasus.
This is a composite of images taken between 2009 and October 12, 2015. I think I’ve finally gotten it to the point where I’m finally satisfied with it.
One of the finest globulars clusters visible in the northern hemisphere, Messier 15 According to Wikipedia is one of the most densely packed in the Milky Way.
C8 @ F7.5 with Starizona reducer/corrector. QSI583wsg 64 x 30 seconds binned 2x2
C11 Luminance taken 08-17-2012 Cherry Springs State Park. C11 QSI583wsg Starizona Reducer 4 @ 5minutes 12 @ 2 minutes and 26 @ 1 minute (still blew out the core with 1 minute subs)
Color layer RGB taken from a session on 8/18/09 from Pulpit Rock. Celestron C8, QSI583, Meade 0.63 focal reducer (too much distortion with this reducer).
Images acquired in Astroart. Stacked and calibration frames applied in Deep Sky Stacker. Stacks aligned and registered in Registar. Processed in Adobe Photoshop.
