After a long hiatus in sunspot activity the sun has woken up a bit (typical middle aged laziness). Sunday July 6th 2009 observed large active set of sun spots and a large coronal loop on Eastern limb. This picture taken with club's new PAState Grant Imaging Source camera mounted on a Coronado PST with a 2X Barlow (lens element ONLY) screwed onto the camera nose unit.
