I have found a few articles that work for the LX200 and LX90.

This first article is the best I have found, and has enabled me to get a reasonable polar align for 1 minute shots. I have not tried to get a better alignment as I did not have the time. I want to see if this method can get alignment adequate for 5 minute unguided exposures.

Hey all, it's me again.

This is a link to an article which uses you CCD camera to make a star trace. It's a version of drift alignment which is said to take only minutes to perform.
