Have any members ever had profound moments of fleeting insight into an aspect of astronomy?

It might occur under the stars or it might occur at some other time of day, possibly while reading, maybe while stopped at a red light, or taking a walk.

What is strange about these moments is that intellectual process seems to fall away and a vast moment of wonder opens up. A kind of simplification. It is very transitory.

I hesitate relating some of the moments I have had without first polling the members for others who may be receptive to talk in this area.

Are there any members interested in relating their experiences?
