Not only was Brian a pillar of our Astronomy Society he was also a much loved and respected local Fire Chief.

A funeral service with full fire department honors will be held this Saturday inside the Cedar Crest Bible Fellowship Church, (1151 South CedarCrest Blvd). The service will start at noon.

Friends may call at the church from 10 a.m. until noon.

Copernicus had those Renaissance ladies
Crazy about his telescope
And Galileo had a name that made his
Reputation higher than his hopes
Did none of those astronomers discover
While they were staring out into the dark
That what a lady looks for in her lover
Is Charm, Strangeness and Quark
HAWKWIND - QUARK, STRANGENESS AND CHARM

We've lost a good friend and wonderful person. It was a privilege to have known Brian. We'll miss him greatly.

Good evening,

Is there something the club could do in Brian's name? Name something after him or plant a tree etc.

Eric
