Amateur Telescope Making

 Telescope Making Class

The Telescope Making Class is an informal monthly meeting of those who have an  interest in making their own telescopes, eyepieces, etc..  Group members bring in their projects to test, work on, or maybe even to show off.  If you need help setting up, refurbishing or collimating a telescope you already own, feel free bring it to the meeting.  Advice is freely given to any who ask it!

For more information, send an e-mail to either John LaShell or Bob Mohr. The Telescope Making Class normally meets the Friday evening nearest the full moon, so you won't waste any prime observing time! The current leaders of the group are John LaShell and Bob Mohr.

Check the calendar for specific dates this class meets.

Telescope activities are a fun and creative project for elementary school children. After learning about them, students create their own personal telescopes. Depending on the age of students, some activities may be more involved than others. Thanks. Regards, chicago limousine services
