Photo taken over two nights using Atik16HRC operating at F4 with a home made focal length reducer. Guided with a CCDLabs QGuider on a StellarVue Little Rascal piggybacked. PHD guiding.

Had a few problems with the positioning of my home made focal length reducer. As you can see there is a terrible barrel distortion here.

M34 (NGC 1039 ) an open cluster of about 100 stars in Perseus.
LRGB, William Optics FLT-110, Astro-Tech Field Flattener, QSI583wsg, Celestron CGE mount, Watec 120N+ used as guide camera off-axis. Guided with PHD Guiding, acquired in AstroArt, preprocessed in Deep Sky Stacker and processed in Photoshop.

Luminance: taken 09-14-09, 14 X 4 minutes
RGB: taken taken 09-18-09, 8 frames each @ 2 minutes binned 2 X 2
Total exposure: 104 minutes
All frames taken @ Cherry Springs State Park, PA

Greg Walden's favorite DSO. I imaged this just to see if I could squeeze it onto one chip. Camera Atik16HRC, scope 8" F4 Newtonian. Only just shoe-horned it onto the chip.
