A friend of ours was viewing near the zenith (in Hercules) between 9:30 and 10 pm on one of these nights and saw a generally stationary orange-colored object that she described as the "size of a pencil eraser." We did some searching online, but saw nothing to describe this object. We'd appreciate it if anyone has some info on this - perhaps the remains of a rocket burning or maybe a launch.... Seemed to be visible for too long a time to be a meteor.
